Music Lesson Policy
June 2011-12
Please be reminded of the following.
Make
up lessons are available if a teacher is
absent or extreme weather prevents students
from getting to their lessons. Your
lesson is your personally selected 1/2 hour
time to connect with your teacher. There
are very few times that are open and available
otherwise. If student illness, sports, family
holidays, school trips or other events conflict
with your music lesson you will be allowed
a TWO make up limit for the entire year.
No makeups are allowed after the limit is
reached.
All make up lessons not concluded by August
1th will be forfeit. The student should call
the teacher to arrange for lesson times.
School Administration Act
- A child is excused from attendance at
school if he/she is absent from school for
the purpose of receiving instruction in music
and the period of absence does not exceed
one-half day in any week.”
